Irish Balloon Flights have around 25 years experience in aerial advertising. We have operated balloons for a wide variety of companies in all aspects of business. These balloons have been both traditional standard-shaped balloons as well as special shaped balloons that are designed to replicate a specific product.
We pride ourselves in our ability to optimise any possible advertising opportunity that arises and will often take opportunistic flights where there will be a known media presence. For example, we flew a balloon over the Tour de France cycle race that went out on Eurosport to many millions of television viewers. During the past 12 months, we have been featured in all of the national newspapers and on TV programs such as RTE's Nationwide, and Seoige & O'Shea (3 times).

We can offer a very effective advertising campaign that gets the clients name out to a huge audience. Hot Air Balloon advertising provides the most effective cost / return. Typically, the advertising return is many times the cost. Take into account that a Hot Air Balloon can last several years, providing long-term benefits.
Clients considering conventional advertising should ask themselves the following questions;
- How often do your customers photograph your advertising hoardings?
- How memorable is your advert?
- How often does your advertising stop traffic?
Hot Air Balloons are HUGE. The advertising space on a balloon envelope is anything up to 30 times that of a conventional roadside billboard.
How big? Take a look at the photo below to get some idea of just how big balloons can be....

Throughout the next season or two, we plan to carry out a number of targeted publicity 'stunts' that are guaranteed optimum media coverage. We are actively looking for partners who will benefit from this exposure.
Our recent work with Smart Telecom has generated a huge amount of media interest. Check out the following page for details of 2 of our World Records that we smashed in September 2005 in one of the Smart Telecom balloons.

We also have a number of balloons that carry no advertising. These balloons are ideal for generic advertising opportunities or photo-shoots. It is possible to have specific banners manufactured that fit these balloons for one-off advertising campaigns.

As you can see from the photographs in the bottom row, in addition to the traditional baskets, we also operate small one-man balloons, affectionately known as 'Cloud Hoppers' where the pilot is secured in a harness and their legs are free to dangle below. These balloons enjoy an amazing amount of publicity due to their 'James Bond' characteristics.
STOP PRESS: We are actively seeking advertising partners for some upcoming high-profile projects. If your company is interested in taking advertising space on our balloons please contact us and we will forward a proposal.
